Jimmy has more than 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry.  First as the owner of MitPat, a medical billing service, and then bringing his knowledge and experience to Medac to focus exclusively on anesthesia and pain management billing systems and processes.  His thorough understanding of anesthesia billing operations, provider fee schedules, collections procedures, billing system review, practice operation assessment and identifying and solving medical reimbursement problems have allowed him to seamlessly transition over 120 groups to Medac.  His extensive knowlege of our Kam Technologies system is invaluable in the presentation of our services at conferences and client meetings, as well as educating clients to use our reporting tools.

Alan Sheffield
Vice President of Proprietary Software Development

Alan has more than 30 years of software development experience and was the key programmer in the development of Kam Technologies, Medac’s proprietary software.  He is responsible for the design and development of Medac’s software, including feature definition, business problem analysis, database design, and implementation and testing of the solution.  He has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts.
