Brenda Jackson

Brenda Jackson has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, both as a registered nurse in Canada and the United States, and as an administrator.  As a nurse, she practiced in emergency medicine while completing her degree in healthcare management.  Since then, she has managed and directed all aspects of professional billing operations including systems design and utilization, regulatory and HIPAA compliance, process design and engineering, revenue cycle management and recovery, academic practice plan management and physician recruitment.  Additionally, she has served as an expert witness providing clinical review for litigation.

Brenda has worked as COO of Colorado Medical Consultants and as Vice President of Operations for Integrated Medical Management.  In recent years, Brenda was the principle of Brenda Jackson Consulting, advising a variety of medical billing companies and serving in an Interim COO capacity for a number of them.  Brenda is a member of MGMA (Medical Group Management Association), ACMPE (American College of Medical Practice Executives), AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders), HBMA (Healthcare Billing and Management Association) and ACMCS (American College of Medical Coding Specialists).
