Medac provides an initial two (2) to three (3) hour On-Site Provider Education Session for all providers – This session covers proper documentation for coding, compliance and maximum reimbursement as well as Medical Direction Rules and Regulations, Evaluation and Management Level of Service Determination and Anesthesia and Pain Management specific billing rules and regulations.  Following the initial education session, Medac can provide the following ongoing educational services:

• Daily assessment and electronic notification of coding/documentation and concurrency errors and omissions
• Monthly reporting of all documentation errors and omissions by provider
• Electronic Monthly Updates on anesthesia and/or pain management coding, compliance and billing issues and rules and regulations that impact documentation and billing compliance and reimbursement
• Compliance/coding/billing audits
• Updates and previews of new anesthesia and pain management CPT codes
• Semi-Annual newsletter—Medac Anesthesia Business Journal
• Additional on-site education sessions on an as needed basis
