At Medac, we understand the importance of excellent customer service.  That is why we provide and fully staff our own dedicated internal patient call center within our corporate headquarters in North Augusta, SC. The PSC is responsible for servicing all calls from patients for all balances, as well as answering any questions posed about their anesthesia bills.  Specific services include:

  • Patient statement customer service and handling of billing and payment inquiries
  • Collection of patient balances to include establishing payment plans
  • Personalized attention in explaining patient bills and helping them understand their anesthesia bill
  • Personalized instruction on paying anesthesia bills on-line all major credit cards
  • Automated calls to all patients with balances on day 28 of aging and a second reminder on day 59
  • Bilingual representatives to provide assistance for non-english speaking patients
  • Extended operating hours from 8:00 am Eastern to 7:00 pm Pacific Time, Monday through Friday for extended customer access
